Women's social groups

Social meet-ups for autistic women

We host monthly meet-ups in two local pubs, where autistic women can meet each other and socialise.

What we offer

Our women’s social group provides an opportunity for autistic women to meet up in person, in a welcoming and safe environment. Group members can socialise, share experiences, build friendships, and develop more confidence around socialising.

Sessions are held in two local pubs, in private function rooms. Both venues serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and food. The groups are facilitated by professional members of the Aurum team.

How it works

We run social groups in Worcestershire and Shropshire. Groups are free of charge.

The groups are open to autistic women who:

  • Either have a formal autism diagnosis or who self-identify as autistic
  • Are aged 18 and over
  • Live in either Worcestershire or Shropshire

Worcestershire social group

Our Worcestershire group is held monthly on a Tuesday evening 7.30pm to 9pm, at a pub in the centre of Great Malvern. This group is led by Natalie and Lynn.

Shropshire social group

Our Shropshire group is held monthly on a Wednesday evening, at a pub in the centre of Bridgnorth. The group is facilitated by Natalie and Lynn.
